2007 already!

I Can't Believe that tomorrow is new years eve.It seems like yesterday we were welcoming 2006 in.This past year we have moved.Said good bye to good friends came here said hello again to old friends.I will be glad to see 2007 here I love the begging of a new year new things that I have never done before,New challenges.And sin I have not sinned yet.I pray each one of you has a very good 2007.

Well Today we went down to school to do some work and setting up for this next semester.So I was putting some flowers on one of the wall and I was up and down the latter so I got my exercise.We were down there for like 5 plus hours and we are still not done yet.So one the wall that I was putting the flowers on we are going to say Growing in grace.I 'll try to take a picture of it.

Have you ever lost weight and gone through your closet and got rid of some clothes that are to big for you well ,I got the pleasure to go through my closet and get rid of some clothes.I made a pack I would get down to 145 iam not quite there yet but Iam much better then I was I fit a size 14 not 16 like I use to.

Well we had a very wonderful Christmas the Lord is so good to us in so many way we never had thought of.We played this game called phase 10 it is a really fun game,I would encourage anyone to play it.We had roast beef,green bean casserole,potato casserole,rolls,yams etc it was a nice time to be with family .I hope all of you had a great Christmas and we did.God bless you.

A Christmas Carol

Well my family was able to go see "A Christmas Carol" In our small town theater It was such a treat for us.We have several families from our church performing in it.It so nice to see young people with this much talent.

Tomorrow we are talking my friend Lindsey to the airport and she will be going to Colorado for 2 weeks I will miss her though.... we have been spending every Friday night together having movie night and enjoying our selves I will miss her.But she will be back.Thursday night we went to one of the dear couples in our church house to help make cookies for the shut-ins of the church had a great time and we watched the Grinch who stole Christmas it was a lovely evening.

I can't beleive it is christmas already!It seems like time flies by so fast and we blink and another year has passed which it has.I hope you have a very merry christmas and a great 2007 .May God bless you as he sure has bless our family time after time this past year.

Good Friends are hard to find

I Finally got a card reader so now I can down load picture right then.This is my good friend Lindsey.We do a lot of things together every weekend.Tonight we almost got blown away in this wind we were down town watch the light parade which was really good and the wind was really powerful.Then we went to palm springs to see this 1 street that is just awesome with Christmas lights.And the wind was so strong there too.Have a wonderful weekend stay warm.

Christmas play

We have been praticing for our annual school christmas play and the kids seem to be getting it so I hope by thursday night it will be a good preformence and if there is a parent not saved there they will get saved

Weird!

I think it is funny during this time of the year people are more cheerful and people who you never hear from during the year exsept christmas call you! I have had that happen to me twice latley.We only have 4 1/2 day til our christmas break but it will be good to just relax some.But I pray we will never forgot why we are celerbrating this christmas season.

Mommy And Me

I feel bad she is sick with this cold thing that is going around so now we swich and I try to take care of her it weird how when your little they take care of you but when they get older you need to care for them. This picture says to me she is soooooooooo Happy to of finilly get a girl when my brother was born she thought he was a girl.But she adopted me and It has been a great life so far.

Hi sorry it has been a while since I have written.I seem to get buzier and buzier as we get into the school year.Today was very intersting my class we had 2 absent one of which I heard was at home throwing up and then we had 5 more student saying they were sick and feeling like they where going to throw up also! Then I was feeling sick to my stomach just thinking about it.Glad tomorrow is a holiday.

I just pray for the famlies in our church who are dealing with this sickness and pray that I will not get this.

The good old days

This is a picture of my girlfriend and myself when we were like 17.We often were asked if we were twins or sister it was real funny to hang together we are actully 15 days apart but differnt parents.This is barbra Kuhlmann she passed away this year.The good old days when we were young her birthday is actully wednesday that means mine is not to far away yuck!

Ever feel really drained!

I have had one of those draining weeks and the sad thing is we only had 3 days of school thois week.But sunday night I got sick with a cold and it hard to not stay home but I have a job so I cant very well get someone to replace me.

A good night sleep might help I hope I can clear up soon so I can breath better.We are also having a garage sale friday and saturday so I hope we sell a lot of stuff.

Kids!

It's so funny how kids tell you everything with no shame in it.I have found that as iam helping in our school some of my 7th graders just tell you everything things you would prefer not to even know. I just laugh about it.We had a field trip friday it was fun with the kids.we went to rileys farm we learn how people in the 1800 lived,we got candied apples,rode on a hay ride learned how to make butter it was fun.we only have 3 days of school this week cause the teacher have educators convention on wednesday then the ladies head to ladies retreat I was not able to go to that this year but some things are worth waiting for so next year is my year.

Why?

Well we got to school this morning and our principle came out and said we got vandlized last night,There were things throwen everywhere in our principles office,They did some things to the Nursey not as bad and tried to get into the pastors office and the church secertery's office they got in and threw some of her desk drawers.I dont understand why people would do something like that!By the time 3pm came we were cleaning up most of the principles office but there still is work to do.Satan sure is on the lose.These people are full of sin.

Have you ever felt like you are walking like you are a zombe?This week has been that way
I felt like I have not gotton enough rest!Thats the life of a school teacher or assisant right.

our Church is having a workday on saturday and we get to clean up the church for the churches anniversy Sunday which is going to be an awesome day.

The weather today got kinda cold out here which felt nice but I did'nt have a jacket cause I spent the night at a friends so I was un perphared.

Well a dear friend of mine which I have knowen for like 9 years or more is leaving to join the navy greg.It 's so good to see him go on for another chapter in his life.

Everything around here is so fall I went to my classroom yesterday and decorated it for fall I think it looks real good.

Well we suffer through the summer with heat and when it gets cool we say it to cold we sure do complain.The weather is sure beauitful I really enjoy it today I actully cooked some muffins someone gave me a mix for a gift.

I do miss the trees changing colors about this time of year up north.

Well what a week I have had!Sometime I ask God are you sure you made the right decision in
wanting us Back in full time christain school teachers,Cause this week everything has gone wrong has. I have had a student tell me not in so many words but that I can't give him a demerit for that cause it"s not in the hand book but at the end of the hand book it states we reserve the right to make any changes to it so we can add a demerit to the list.It's so sad how kids treat the authoritys in there life.Iam not perfect Iam sure I had my own little issues on it but it bothers me a lot. I come home needed some quit time and hoping God will speak to then so that he'll speak to them.But we all go throght trials and we grow from then?

Hey

Well I have been buzy at school and by the time I get a chance to post Iam asleep on my bed in the middle of a movie! We teach 4th through 7 grades and I never realized how much they conplain,And grip by the time the days over you are Glad they go home! It 's a great chance to help mold lives into christ.

our church will be having a pinic it sound fun!Always glad for a chance to meet new people and make friends.

We teach the 4-7th graders and this is always how it happens we have a long week and then the weekends fly by to fast for me.God has called my mom and myself to teach but it seems like you are so wore out mom and I go to bed like at 8pm cause the kids sure ware us out.

This is my aunt and my cousin and her little man it was the first time I saw him since he was born he will be 2 in a few months.He is the sweetist little guy.It so fun being with family.

tired

Well today has been pretty good this morning when I woke I really wanted to turn over and go back to sleep I just felt really drained today for some reason I did'nt even do much yesterday.It s weird how tired you get.I got up late so I did'nt get my coffee maybe that is the problem? I have heard a lot of people say its bad for you but it really helps me to be alert and I have heard that coffee can open your brain up so you can think better and I always need that.

Migraine yuck!

In Life you are always learning lession and God is teaching you things,Well tuesday it was so hot and I help with p.e for 2 classes one my own and I was in the heat from 150-250 so about an hour ,The lession in this is to stay out of the sun And I guess iam not much of taking the heat anyway I came home with a major headache that cause me to throw up cause of the pain I need something stronger to take then what I take. So I like totally lost a day cause of that but I lived.

This was taken last year when we were still living in northren california.I call it Gods country.The colors out there is so differnt from here! The desert does'nt get much color ,But God has placed us here to change lives so we should'nt complain we have such a priviledge to do so.

Well School seems to be going well except for the 1st day! we had our 1st chapel service today and my class was very good.We had our first parent teacher fellowship tonight we had 75% of our students parents there it was a good time in learning about some of the kids and a time to encourage then.

We have a 3 day weekend this week can't wait for it so I can get some of my personal things done like do some cleaning etc..

School

Well school is actully going pretty good yesterday we had a few little problems but it going well .
of course you have kids who will try to test you which we have but, you just have to stay firm with them which is hard for me sometime but the class is doing well.I can't beleive how tired you get being in full time ministry the last week I have gone to bed like at 9pm that is so unnormal for me cause I use to go to bed at 11pm.I think the total count of the school as of right now is 47
which is a great number we are praying for 60 God can do anything.

Well yesterday we had a ladies day of refreshment our church does it once a year in the summer
it was such a nice time.The theme was mexican so it was so nice Mrs.Debi pryde was the speaker she is such a great speaker.I have pictures but I will need to post them later.

We school starts tomorrow Iam so looking forward to being involved in these lives.

Where does the time go?

Where does the hours go in the day ?It funny when your working on something and dont realize
that like half of your day is gone.Then it does'nt seem like you have enough time to get done what needs to get done like the larndry and grorcy shopping etc.. Where does the time go!

Schools Here!

Well I have been soooooooooooooo buzy this week we have been down at school everyday this week to set up our classroom it has been fun ,But it also has been so humid here you think you are going to die over the stickyness it makes you feel.Well today I paint things yellow The monitor's station ,And the scoring table and and the thing they actully put there paces to score it was fun but tiring.We have 12 students so far but We still have room for more.I will be my mom's assisant it will be a great year,I hope to lose weight in the prosses.

Friend are you there?

We have been here for about a month and I feel like so many of my people have grown up and changed Which is good,But sometimes you wished you still in that time zone and not where you are now.Not that I dont like what going on now.

We have only been here a month but I still feel homesick for northren california I had some friends up there .Not that the people here are not friendly please dont get me wrong the people in this church are awesome but it hard to adjust to a new begining.

But Iam so much looking forward to helping in the school again ,And I have been working in the church nursery and I just love those kids. Thanks Mrs.ferguson For the priviledge.

That's my shob story.

Hi Everyone,
Sorry it has been like a month since my last post how time flies.We got here safley and 6 hrs after we got here a huge fire broke out and we were dealing with snoke.Actully we had 4 fires in 2 week the cause of it was lighting.

This is our house it is so nice big God really Blessed us.

Things are going well I actully got buzy at school this week.So far we have 49 students if everyone comes and pays .

Saying goodbye

Well we are moving tomorrow to yucca valley to serve in Calvary Baptist Church ministry is so hard to say good bye to people after you have made friends felt comfortable etc.. I feel sad for military couples who do this all the time.
As soon as I get internet again I will write.

Life Goes on.

Well life goes on ,I remember growing up watching this tv show life goes on I loved that show to death.Anyway my adoped grandmother's Sister Zuey is struggling.

I hear that she does'nt remember a lot of things since her stroke and you have to be there a while before she knows who you are she is still paralized and cant talk I feel so bad for her cause I bet it is so frustrating on her please pray for her..

Well we have 3 weeks til we move our apartment is piled high of boxes so we are getting there but it sure seems like it is taking forever.It has been so hot here we hear it is suppose to be near 110 degrees on sunday yuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow is my last day serving at my church as a receptionist we are having a luncheon on I hope new people will come and join this ministry we have swifts for 2hrs and 15 mintues each day so each day during the week 4 ladies come and answer the phones or you can take a double shift,I wont be doing any more cause we are moving but will miss it I have done it for about a year.

2 times of bad news

Well life is funny sometime it goes so well and then boom!And then you get the bad news you never want to hear dear friend Zuey had a stroke Tuesday or Wednesday of last week and is in the hospital her left side is totally paralyzed also pure dear friend Jim beam died Thursday also we don't know what caused his sudden death are sadden about this news but God is still Merciful.


This Friday night we are having a ladies night out we are having an activity this time we are doing a car rally which is basically a scavenger hunt in your cars we shall see.

Could the day get any worse?

Well have you ever woke up and knew that the day was not going to be smooth like you would like it?Well that is what happened this morning I woke up with this pounding headache that wouldn't just go away because of that I could not focus on my Bible reading,And my schedule was off we are moving so my mom is trying to set up the phone,and stuff and she was put on hold for 75 minutes by the phone company our garbage susposer broke what else could possibly go wrong.

That life huh.

The weight game!

It sooooooooooooooo easy for us girls to gain weight just like that,Then we decide we need to lose the weight .Cut out all the good food including choclate{which most of us love to death} and go on this diet,And the we excerize like crazy and lose it and we are finially to the weight we like so then we are off all the diets exserize etc.. and we gained all the weight back that we lost so we are back at square 1 again how discouraging.

I have been on this diet for about 2 months and I have lost 15 pounds it seems like this is the only diet that works for me .The calorie counting diet and I ride my bike for close to 45 mintues a day.

The Moving Thing!

We moved from my hometown about 4 years ago.And that was the hardest thing I had ever thought I had done in my life,I was leaving my Church My friends And taking on a new challenge in my life.We moved to Susanville California My mom and I substitutes teaching for 3 months That was hard cause we could 'nt find the right church so finially we seattled with a southren baptist church.Church up north here are very hard to find and to find the right ones too.Then we moved to paradise califoria Which we stayed their for 2 years.And found a good church .We were travling back and forth 3 or more times a week it was getting exspencive with gas going up not living closer to church so last July we moved to Chico so we would be closer to church and the activity there.And about a year ago we committed to God that people are more inportant then things .We are happy here but it time for us to move on to our next adventure and God has just provided thing after thing.We plan to move July 11.I hope we dont move again.We will be going back to my hometown and teaching at the christain school again so excited.

This a tree I took in November I love that color it is so pretty up here in the fall.The little dog is our friends dog his name is domenic he is so cute.I hope you all had a great easter we did.It was raining it seems to always rain up here on easter Sunday.We had a lot of visitors in church.

This is my kitty Abigail she is a good pet it funny how your pet acts like you sometimes I have notice her scrating and scrating I think she has fleas I went and got a flea coller for her but she seems to have gotton worse I hate to see her suffer.

Time Flies

Hi sorry it been a few days since I have posted anything.Well I dont have any up to date pictures.I lost my camrea usb cable so I need to go buy a cardreader to tranfer then from my camrea to my computer what a hassel.So in a few days I should have that so I can put more up to date photo on my site.I have nursery tonight I just love being in the nursery I love the babies our church has run out of little babies now they are all toddlers.They grow up so fast.

My Mom and I have not been going cause of the rainy weather,But we hear it is suppose to clear up tomorrow but we never know with this weather!We have a ladies night out tonight and we will be having a craft night it should be fun.

This is my church that I attend every week it is such a nice church.It is baptist.And 500-700 people attend on sunday morning differnt from the smaller church I was raised in.Right now they are under going a building project the gym so hopfully this fall it will be able to be used.
